Privacy Policy and Disclaimer
Effective 19 October 2026. Short version: we collect nothing, and every number here is an estimate for you to confirm, not a final answer.
Not Financial, Tax or Legal Advice
CO₹PU$ is a calculator and a notebook. It is not a confirmation of your net worth, the tax you owe, a refund, your eligibility for a scheme, or the returns you will earn. Every figure is worked out from what you typed or imported, using the rules as they stood when they were last checked, and rules change with every budget.
- Check before you act. Before you file a return, buy or sell an investment, take a loan, change insurance or make any decision with money, confirm the numbers with a qualified professional, the official source, or both.
- Your documents win. If anything here disagrees with your payslip, tax statement, fund statement or bank, trust the official document.
- No relationship. Using CO₹PU$ does not make anyone your adviser. We are not a registered investment adviser, tax agent, broker or insurer in any country.
- No guarantee. The site is given as it is, without any warranty. We cannot accept responsibility for losses from relying on it.

Where Your Data Lives
What you enter is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device, under these keys: corpus_data_v1 (your entries, settings and any price keys), corpus_theme (light or dark), corpus_privacy (the hide amounts switch) and corpus_undo_v1 (a copy kept for one level of undo after an import). Live price lookups may also be cached by your browser. You can erase everything from Settings, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Documents You Import
Files you drop on the Import page are opened in memory inside the browser tab and released when you leave the page. They are never uploaded and never stored, not even in local storage. Only the figures you approve are saved, such as net pay or fund units. Passwords for locked PDFs are used once to open the file and are not kept. Identity numbers such as PAN, SSN, National Insurance, SIN, TFN, NRIC, bank account and folio numbers are ignored.
PDF Reports and Backups
When you download a PDF report or a backup file, it is created on your device and saved where you choose. It contains your financial figures, so store and share it with care. A backup file also contains any price keys you added.
Price Services and API Keys
Only when you press a refresh button, your browser contacts the price services listed on the About page. These requests contain a fund code, ticker, metal or currency pair, never amounts or holdings. Those services have their own privacy policies. If you add an Alpha Vantage, Finnhub or EODHD key, it is stored only in your browser and sent only to that service, as the service requires.
Hosting
Whoever hosts this copy of the site may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, like any website. Those logs never contain your financial data, because that data is never sent.
Your Rights
Privacy laws give you the right to see, correct and delete your personal data. With CO₹PU$ you already hold all of it: view and edit it in the app, download it from Settings, and erase it from Settings or your browser at any time.
Children
The site does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will change with it.
